Sky Creative is an award winning, highly creative, busy and exciting department. We are an internal Creative agency, supporting the whole business – both the platform and the network of channels, providing creative design solutions on-air, off-air and for convergent media.
We pride ourselves on the commercial quality of our output across channel branding, programme packaging and promotions & commercials. Due to additional stereo-scopic 3D workload, we need to add to our team and are looking for a talented, mid-level Flame compositor to join us.
The in house visual effects team provides creative effects to other areas within Sky Creative and to all business areas including Network Channels, Sports, Marketing, Sponsorship, Promotions and Corporate.
Reporting to the Post Production Supervisor, you will be required to produce 3D Stereo-scopic and HD visual effects for a fast-paced broadcast environment. You will have hands-on visual effects experience, gained from compositing on Autodesk Flame and training will be provided on the 3D tool-set on Flame 2011×1. The projects that you will be working on will range from simple logo animations, through promos to high-end title sequences, channel Idents, and complex visual effects work.
You will be involved in the research and implementation of advanced Stereoscopic 3DTV visual effects workflow.
You will self-manage small projects and support senior artists on larger projects. Duties will include – motion graphics compositing, 3D and visual effects compositing. You will be able to show that you have built effective relationships with, and be able to take direction from clients and are able to disseminate required information and seek support as needed. You will have independently managed your contribution within a pre-determined time frame.
Along the way, developing collaborative relationships with Designers, Directors, Creative Directors and all internal departments to ensure the visual effects workflow is efficient and produces the level of work expected.
