MATTE PAINTER NEEDED – PAID
Posted in: The Job LotI am directing and producing a short film that will require a great amount of Matte Painting. I am a commercial director/VFX Supervisor, this will be my first film that will show alot of VFX. The film is independent and will mostly be self-funded.
It will be a pay per scene/content type of work. I will supply information, boards, concepts, and direction. Again, I will be paying out of my own pocket for this, so yes I would like some discount.. 🙂
SCENE: TUNDRA
The first scene I need will be in the teaser, hoping it will bring in more interest and budget to finish the film.
The painter will supply a matte painting of a snowy tundra like mountain range with some foreground element. The shot is very simple and there’s not alot of camera movement. The painting will be projected onto a 3D model for depth and to add other elements.
I have a subscription for iStock, so if the painter needs any contents or stock photos, I can provide them. The project will be ongoing as we are trying to get the movie completed.
