RED Cam footage in Nuke
Posted in: NUKE from The FoundryI was happy to see that Nuke can read and work nicely with RED footage, but after working within a couple of nodes I realized that this seems to work very buggy. One example: After using a LENS DISTORTION node, my camera tracker after that didn’t even start anymore. I tried the same on a HD DPX sequence of the same footage – no problem.
Should I avoid working with RED footage natively? What are you experiences?
