Help with nCloth and friction maps
Posted in: MayaHi, I’m new with maya nCloth and I’m trying to make a simulation of an object (box-like) sliding down a ramp and stoping at the end without falling of.
First of all, I’ve made the ramp as a passive collider and the box as a nCloth with rigidity of 10 (is that engough to make a solid object??).
Than I figured out that you can assing a friction map to the nRigid node. I attached a ramp texture with a gradient from 0 to 1 but it seams not to be working.
Do you guys have any idea what am I doing wrong? Or a better idea on how to make this effect?
