Improve rendering speed

my current conflagration is c2q Q9550 2gb ram
1gb graphic card nvdia 9400.
single frame rendering time is 13 min.
(5laks polygon and single vray sunlight)
its too long for me because we are working for walk through. we have to render 1000s of frames.
what changes i need for batter performance??
