This is the first time that the majority of us have worked on an animated short, we had to do it for a a group project and there were 5 of us. I was wondering what you guys thought of it, and if you could give us any tips to maybe help us improve it? This was the one we handed in, but we still have a few weeks till the final submission.

been working on this project the past 6 months off and on. It took me quite a bit longer than it should have but I finally got it done.
3D is from Maya, Compositing from After Effects w/ Trapcode particular plugin, Tracking done in Boujou. Film was shot on a Panasonic HPX-300 in Phoenix, AZ

I am a student at the Art Institute of Vancouver and I will be graduating at the end of June this year. This is a shot I am doing for my Compositing III class as the final assignment for that class and I am hoping I will be able to get it looking good enough that I’ll be able to put it on my demo reel.
For now I will just post an image of a quick slap comp I did. Tomorrow morning I will post a couple vimeo links so you can see the rotoscoping I have completed. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Currently working on the animated mythology/horror film Kaptara, and I wanted to share some of what we’ve got so far and get some feedback both on the work and on whether or not this is something anyone would want to see.
We’ve used Maya for initial modeling, ZBrush for refinement, Mari for texturing, and then we move back into Maya for rigging.
Kaptara is a retelling of the Greek myth of Theseus and the minotaur, and will have elements of both fantasy and horror.

I’m a Lost Boys Student working on my UFO project. Well, deadline was on Friday but until it goes on my reel I’ll consider it a work in progress.
My goal is to be a compositor and I didn’t want to spend long on modelling so a big thanks to Nick (http://solcommand.blogspot.com/) for his cool models. I only did some minor augmentations to change the sillhouette to work with my composition.
The sound is from a movie that doesn’t quite match up but I thought it might help convey the atmosphere I’m going for… so please it’s the only thing I’ll ask excuses for.
