Bluebolt are looking for a Snr Lighting TD to join their exciting London office, currently lead vendor on HBO’s Game of Thrones and Iron Lady among others.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a feature film or high-end CG lighting pipeline.
Showreels must contain examples of photorealistic CG lighting.

Skills:
* Solid technical grounding of Lighting in Maya using renderers like Pixar’s Renderman or 3Delight.
* A good working knowledge of high-end CG lighting pipeline working practice and protocols.
* An ‘artistic eye’ and and a thorough understanding of photography and film lighting principles.
* Experience in ‘Look Development’ and ‘Shader Setup’ is preferable.
* Experience of writing shaders in RSL and/or scripting general lighting pipeline tools for production are an advantage.

This role will require you to:
* report to the Head of 3D
* be team orientated, motivated and able to work a brief.
* be able to learn quickly and troubleshoot logically.

* Candidates with 1 year or more ‘on-set’ experience are preferable
* On-set survey experience ie: ‘Total Station’ etc is an advantage
