MFX Brussels is looking for experienced, talented, motivated freelance compositors for feature film projects.

Job based in Belgium, initial 1 month start in our London offices.

• Must be a team player and perform well under tight deadlines
• Be creative and have the ability to take direction from VFX Supervisors and
lead compositor.
• Maintain the overall look, colour balance, and quality for assigned shots
and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 3-4 years industry experience in
feature film compositing.
• Knowledge of Fusion, Nuke and PFTrack a bonus

C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures located in downtown Toronto is currently looking for Senior VFX Compositors to join our VFX team. Compositors will be responsible for the contribution and completion of VFX shots in a pipelined environment.

Job Duties:

• Create vfx elements and complete shots using various cg, live action or otherelements
• Work with other compositors, matte painters and cg artists
• Make timely corrections to work when required
• Take creative direction from leads and/or VFX Supervisor
• Additional duties as required

Qualifications:

• Excellent working knowledge of software packages such as fusion, shake, combustion
• Knowledge of pftrack, photoshop, synth eyes/mokey an asset
• Excellent eye for colour, lighting and composition
• Excellent ability to assess shot requirements, flag potential problems and facilitate solutions
• Accredited post secondary school compositing course or equivalent
• 3-5 years experience in compositing visual effects for feature film
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

blip is looking for a 3D modeller/animator on a freelance basis to work with us on a wide range of advertising projects for large scale LED screens.
You must be based in London and able to come and work with us at our studio in Soho as required. You will be working with other compositors and cg artists, as well as production managers and take creative direction.

key skills required:
– expert knowledge of of 3D modelling, scene building, lighting animation and rendering.
– able to tackle character and architectural modelling and animation as well as particles and fluids.

Howdy,

Shooting a greenscreen short, set in the 1930s depression-era American South, which will utilise completely CG backgrounds. The backgrounds will consist of outdoor areas and environments, such as the outside of a house, and mostly dark and creepy woods.

Need someone who can make that look badass and very stylised, as the final product will be completely rotoscoped. Complete photo-real detail therefore is not necessary, but the fluidity that matches camera movement certainly is.

We’re also planning on filming some action sequences handheld, so that should also be taken into consideration for the backgrounds.
