An animation/design studio in West Los Angeles that produces primarily television commercials is looking for a Pipeline Technical Director to start as soon as possible.

Individual must meet the following requirements:

-A minimum of 2 years production experience is desired.

-Ability to write scripts and tools to support production.

-Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter and work well in a collaborative environment. Good communication skills are a must.

-Must be able to analyze inefficiencies and offer solutions, either in a team atmosphere or independently.

-Production experience working with Python, Mel and shell scripting.

-Production experience working with Maya, Mental Ray, and Nuke.

-Working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro is a plus.

I need collaboration to build and finish a 2 minute experimental video with animated words in different situation, the words are main characters and your work needs to communicate their conflict and emotions. I need to give life to the letters and words so they will be able to interact with the footage in a surprising way.

A degree or BTEC HND level qualification in Animation or Multimedia is essential. Duties:

  • To work as a committed member of the Faculty Computer and IT team, and to be an active member of the Labs software deployment and Faculty centralized computer services, providing specialist computer and IT support across the whole Faculty to both staff and students

  • To have knowledge in Apple hardware and software for supporting staff computers throughout the Faculty

Tasks and responsibilities

Requirements
