Animated OBJ sequence

Hey guys,

Anyone know how to sequence a series of OBJ’s in Nuke 5.2? %04d and #04d only return errors saying the file doesn’t exist. So I’m driving everything using a simple [frame] expression. But I’ve seen a few threads about doing just this thing, so I know there has to be something simple I’m missing. Though I can’t find any options for it in the ReadGeo! Anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks a bunch,
Doug

My Favorite Cool New 5.2v1 Features that aren’t in the spotlight

Ok, so R3D support is awesome (though really, I’d still rather work with redlog DPX files, raw r3d means a really, really big file, probably). LUTs are cool, new viewer settings cool…

but my favorite new features, that aren’t garnering a lot of attention:

Colorlookup just got a lot better. The source target point system is fantastic for color matching two plates very quickly.

Shake-like nodal additions. Finally, finally! If you hold down Cntrl/Command with a node selected, and select a new node, it overwrites your selected node. Alternately, holding down shift will branch out another node from your selected node. I missed these two features a lot!

Good times. Life saver right now cause I have some hefty RED projects.

>> If-Then-Else on one line (in expression node)

Hi,

the expression node become really powerfull when you can use "if-then-else" inside
but it’s a different syntax which is in one line. (and a can’t remerber)

How to write a "if-then-else" on one line, in the expression node ?

Tracking data into nuke tracker

Is it possible to export tracking data (a track) from silhouette to nuke, like you can from silhouette to shake? How can I load simple tracking data onto a nuke tracker?

>> iBlur with Nuke (Compound Blur) !?

hi,

i need to use a iBlur (or compound blur in AE) in my comp but i don’t find a way to do this
> iblur = a blur with a size drive by another channel (like a Zdefocus but with a gaussian blur)

is anyone has a methode to do that ?

sorry for my bad english

python node creation

I’ve been looking through the python docs for nuke and it doesn’t appear clean cut to whether its possible to create entire custom nodes using the python nuke interface and not c+.

also the nuke python docs seem to be missing a lot of objects…

is it possible to create a custom node using python?

thanks

dom out.
