My Favorite Cool New 5.2v1 Features that aren’t in the spotlight

Ok, so R3D support is awesome (though really, I’d still rather work with redlog DPX files, raw r3d means a really, really big file, probably). LUTs are cool, new viewer settings cool…

but my favorite new features, that aren’t garnering a lot of attention:

Colorlookup just got a lot better. The source target point system is fantastic for color matching two plates very quickly.

Shake-like nodal additions. Finally, finally! If you hold down Cntrl/Command with a node selected, and select a new node, it overwrites your selected node. Alternately, holding down shift will branch out another node from your selected node. I missed these two features a lot!

Good times. Life saver right now cause I have some hefty RED projects.
