Some recent work for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel by Digital Kitchen; “The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was purposefully built with a bold mission: create a hotel experience unlike any other. To help fulfill that mission, The Cosmopolitan selected Digital Kitchen to surprise and delight their new class of guest. More than a resort, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is an iconic luxury brand. For DK, this presented us with our own mission: bring The Cosmopolitan to life. Give the building itself a personality, a perspective, a voice.”

Tendril: Interac Flash Tutorial
Posted in: Animation, cg, Design, MotionToronto based Tendril continue their string of impressive project with Flash Tutorial / Interac, with stellar Music & Sound Design by John Black of Cypheraudio.
Check out Tenril’s Stills and Process … “Our strategy was to keep the design visually minimal and graphic as possible, relying on unexpected twists, snappy animation timing, and quick transitions to establish and maintain the pace.
On a technical level, because of the complex deformations, dimensionality, and lipsync the script called for, the wallet was rigged and animated in 3D, but rendered with flat colours to look 2D. Some other elements like the coins were also handled this way. The rest of the elements were animated in After Effects. In the end, we had a huge amount of fun creating this piece and hope you enjoy watching it!
