How much of a knowledge should a Compositor have abt 3d?
should one be trained in and will have to regularly work in 3DS/Maya?and should be able to create 3d models?….or jst have a basic idea abt it?
Can Composting be an ideal career path if you are not good at 3d Modeling and Drawing?

Lens Distortion

I was wondering if someone can help me out. I shot on an Panasonic HVX 200 and I was zoomed all the way out. I was hoping if there is a way that I can fix lens distortion. If its in a tracking program I have syntheyes and matchmover however I am more comfortable with syntheyes. I am uploading the first sequence of an image sequence.

film and video – doubt
Posted in: Beginners TalkI have seen people referring to film and video as being two different entities when they refer to the work they do.. from my understanding video is the digital form of film..are there further explanations possible ?:splat:
