Demo Reel Question
Posted in: Beginners TalkSo i’m probably going to start editing another reel by the end of this year and after watching tons of reels and some amazing work, i’m a little confused about how to go about making this reel.
In the past, I have always showed the final shot, followed by the breakdown right after. I have seen reels show nothing but finals shots; show final shots in the beginning part of a reel and breakdowns as the second part of a reel; and (like mine) show final shots followed by the breakdowns right after.
What is the best (more suitable) way to edit a reel? This goes out to all VFX Professionals and Recruiters.
