Hasta La Motion!

Hello to all.. now a few days ago some of my friends took the canon EOS5D camera for a video shoot.. I came to know that it had a full resolution recording capacity.. We shot with the camera but when we took it to some software like Fusion or Nuke, we could see a lot artifacts and we could see some little burnt pixels.. Now why is that happening.. Is it because.. the EOS5D is more of a photo camera than a video one.. or the professional camcorders like HF 200 or something can do a better job at video recording.. just wanted to know about this..
