Thinkbox Software will host free online webinars on October 28 and 29, 2014 to provide an in-depth look at the upcoming Deadline 7 release, which features Virtual Machine Extension (VMX), a built-in and pluggable cloud support solution allowing intuitive ways to build, setup, and manage virtual machines (external or internal) on your renderfarm. The sessions will also cover VMX Cloud Wizard, a function that helps you install a cloud-based render farm often in less than 30 minutes. Additionally, Thinkbox will demonstrate how Jigsaw multi-region rendering – previously only in Autodesk 3ds Max – can now help speed up rendering in Autodesk Maya, The Foundry’s Modo and Rhino. Jigsaw allows users to define any number of arbitrarily-sized rectangular regions in a frame, even sub-divide into a grid and submit each sub-region to a separate render node. Several other new features that can help accelerate and streamline render pipelines will also be included in this webinar.
