''Standing on the Corner'' – The Hi-Fi's (1963)

A cover of the popular showtune. Clip from “Brian Henderson’s Bandstand” (Australia). The Hi-Fi’s were from Sydney. They later changed their genre and renamed themselves The Cicadas, and then moved to the UK to become The Gibsons. This clip from the 19 August 1963 episode of “Bandstand”, which was recorded on video-tape but survives as a kinescope.
