We compare the graphics of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 with PS4 Pro in 1080p Enhanced Visuals mode. Rise of the Tomb Raider offeres 3 different modes to enhance the graphics of the PS4 Pro. You can choose between 4K 30 fps, 1080p 60 fps and 1080p 30 fps with enhaced visuals. These enhanced visuals contain softer sun shadows, better texture filtering, more dynamic foliage, better level of detail and draw distance, upgraded cinematic hair as well as an optimized depth of field. We did not cover the last option, the rest of them are highlighted in our video.

Wir vergleichen die Grafik von Rise of the Tomb Raider auf der PS4 mit der PS4 Pro im FullHD Modus mit verbesserter Grafik. Allgemein bietet Rise of the Tomb Raider drei verschiedene Modi, um das Spiel an die Leistung der PS4 Pro anzupassen. So kann man wählen, ob man im 4K Modus mit 30 fps spielt, dabei wird das Bild mit Hilfe vom Schachbrett-Rendering – Checkerboard-Rendering – von einer Auflösung von 1800p auf 2160p hochskaliert, ob man mit FullHd und 60 fps spielt oder mit FullHD und 30 fps, dafür mit verbesserter Grafik. Letzteres beinhaltet weichere Schatten, verbesserte Texturfilter, mehr dynamische Vegetation, einen höheren Detailgrad mit höherer Sichtweite, in Zwischensequenzen verbesserte Haare und eine bessere Tiefenschärfe. Im Video zeigen wir alle Optionen bis auf die Tiefenschärfe im Detail.
