Go See This Eclipse

On August 21st, 2017, the United States will host its first total solar eclipse in nearly 40 years. While a partial eclipse will be visible from the continental US, only a thin strip across fourteen states will experience what is regarded as the most astounding celestial event one can witness: a total solar eclipse. This film is about why you should do everything you can to go see it. “Seeing a partial eclipse bears the same relation to seeing a total eclipse as kissing a man does to marrying him, or as flying in an airplane does to falling out of an airplane.” — Annie Dillard Driving times to the path of the total eclipse: http://imgur.com/eTxu3UD Watch our first project, To Scale: The Solar System: https://vimeo.com/139407849 Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
