DEN Network launches subscription-based gaming service with Indiagames

DEN Network, India-based cable television distribution company, together with Disney India’s gaming arm Indiagames announced the launch of ‘FUN Games,’ a subscription based gaming service. The service will offer a range of exciting games from the catalog of Indiagames branded titles.

Arjun- prince of BaliSpeaking about the gaming platform, DEN Networks, CEO, S. N. Sharma said, “We are thrilled with this unique association with Disney India to launch exciting games for kids under the name of DEN Fun Games.’’ Further, he emphasised, “At DEN we always believe to give the best value for money to our subscribers by using the most advanced technology to enhance the viewing experience.”

“Making our content available where and when our consumers want, is at the core of whatever we do at Disney India. Today, MSOs reach out to major population in India and by collaborating with DEN Network, we are able to engage and popularise our gaming content among them,” said Interactive – Disney India, VP and head, Sameer Ganapathy.

DEN’s Fun Games offer three games for subscribers. The games will be refreshed regularly for players to acquire new skills that are the list of games would be updated. The games currently available would include Egg Jump, Mailbox and Tower of Hanoi and are available for monthly Rs 45 and quarterly Rs 90 subscriptions for a bundle.

Since the audience in India tend to evade premium games even in popular platforms like mobile, it would be interesting to see how well the initiative would be received in D2H services.
