CAKE takes ‘Oscar’s Oasis’ to Italy through Discovery

Kids entertainment specialist CAKE has announced a deal with Discovery in Italy for the multi award-winning Oscar’s Oasis, produced by French CGI animation studio TeamTO, Tuba Entertainment in Korea and CAKE and commissioned by TF1 France.

The deal, finalised by CAKE’s senior sales manager Bianca Rodriguez, will see Discovery Italy broadcasting the series this November on its free-to-air channel K2.

Oscar’s Oasis (78 x 7’) is a non-verbal CGI animated series starring Oscar, a lonely lizard who fights through an unforgiving desert terrain perpetually crossing paths with a seemingly endless horde of enemies. It often appears that Oscar can’t catch a break, despite all his best efforts to survive, to find water and above all, to avoid dying from boredom.
