August definitely has some amazing game releases coming in and it would really be a challenge to pick which one you would like to play. Here’s a list of 10 games releasing in the month of August that might help you choose from the plethora!

No Man’s Sky: Arguably one of the most anticipated game for some time now, No Man’s Sky taken the term ‘open world’ to a whole new level. It’s a space adventure with 18 quintillion planets to be explored in a vast universe. Subtle graphics and immersive gameplay gives this game an absolute edge. After so many times being postponed, the game would be releasing over PlayStation 4 on 9 August and three days later on PC.

Deus EX: Mankind Divided: This game from Square Enix follows the protagonist Adam Jensen in his quest to subdue terrorism. The story follows up the events from the previous edition of the game, Human Revolution. The steal based action-adventure game makes its way on 23 August.

Batman Telltale Series: “The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature ‘Telltale’ role-playing experience,” Telltale Games, co-founder, Kevin Bruner had said in a statement earlier this year. The game does not follow the conventional method as it is your actions that decide the future path of the game, so it is not just one storyline as you can create your own. The game releases on 2 August.

Platforms: Android, iOS, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Abzu: Seeking a serene and tranquil experience embraced in the calmness of the ocean? Then, this game is just the perfect one for you! Once you stand amidst the bustling life underneath the water surface, you can find hints of alien technology and realise that the mystery of the ocean is much bigger than you expected. The game releases on 2 August.

Platforms: PC, PS4.

Bound: This game showcases elegance and style in a very simplified way. It might seem like a normal exploration game, but the main character is what looks like a ballerina and all of her steps are that of a graceful dancer. Overall, the game looks really beautiful. Get ready to dance in her steps on 16 August.

Platforms: PS4.

Attack on Titan: Developer Omega Force plans to take you to the post-apocalyptic world of the famous manga/animated series of the same name. Given the popularity of the IP, this might be a good game to try your hands on. The game hits the shelves on 30 August.

Platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Windows PC and Xbox One.

Grow Up: A sequel to the 2015 game Grow Home, this game would also follow the protagonist BUD, short form for ‘Botanical Utility Droid’. In this edition of the game, BUD must find all the bits of MOM- the super computer that helped BUD in the previous edition of the game. Looks interesting! The game comes on 16 August.

Mobius Final Fantasy: Final Fantasy’s magic enters into mobiles and tablets with this game as a while back Final Fantasy, series producer, Yoshinori Kitase had said, “A new era of gaming is here, we’re crafting a full-scale, high-quality RPG world the likes of which has never been seen on smartphones and tablets. This is the end product of longtime Final Fantasy creators bringing the series to mobile — and things will never be the same.” So, yes, it is definitely worth trying! The game releases on 3 August.

Resident Evil 4: But the game has already been released in 2005 right? If you think so, you are not mistaken; the upcoming version is just a revamped release for PlayStation. It has been polished up a bit owing to standards of HD television sets, although it will not be a full remake. The game releases on 16 August.

World Of Warcraft :Legion: This is the latest expansion of the decade old MMO game which still rules countless hearts. The new expansion will bring back an old, crucial character, Illidian Stormrage as an antagonist. The expansion will also bring with itself some major visual upgrades.
