Filling the memory voids

Perception is one’s personal opinion. Any image invites the audience to ponder, offering at least several ways of perception. The image is forming an idea using sensitive and logical tools. The idea is being formed when a spectator gives the image a permit to do this. An image is always spots, dots and lines. A spectator builds up the inner nexus and images while just seeing the spots paly on the screen. The brain transforms flat form into something having a volume, parts are merged into the whole. The question is what a spectator sees – a genuine true image or the personal perception of it, formed on a basis of one’s experience and the knowledge of the world. What if it will contain the minimum specification, if it’s gonna be a digital noise, a random combination of 0 and 1? What if the absence of information is a message itself? A sign for one’s brain to think up, to invent the necessary information. The lack of information inside of a given context is a self-sustained image, giving an impulse to a further chain of thoughts. I invite a spectator to dive inside of himself, when he lets the screen be almost blank and sets his imagination free. All the logical thinking is off and the opportunity to observe is on.

New ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ trailer gives a greater insight into the spin-off

One of the paramount figures in the Star Wars franchise, Han Solo would be making his standalone appearance next month in Solo: A Star Wars Story and the latest trailer of his upcoming movie promises a lot in store for the fans.

Based on the Millenium Falcon captain’s backstory, the new clip captures various visions of the titular character showcasing his apparent abilities of driving and flying, on being recruited for a “job” by criminal Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson). Solo, played by Alden Ehrenreich, and his Wookiee bud Chewbacca, join Kira (Emilia Clarke) and Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) in a series of deadly escapades which pits them against powerful galactic forces.

And yes, the clip also traces Solo’s first ride in the great battle-starship Millenium Falcon.

The Corellian smuggler has achieved a cult figure in the Star Wars franchise over the years for his struggles against the Galactic Empire with Rebel Alliance in the original trilogy. But Solo promises to roll back the years and probe his rise to prominence.

As with any other Star Wars movie, the latest one too is packed with amazing visuals that tease an adrenaline-pumping inter-galactic ride, and Industrial Light & Magic seemingly packs another punch. Hybrid, Lola Visual Effects and Blind are the other studios involved for the VFX and Rob Bredow and Patrick Tubach are the production VFX supervisors.

Produced by Lucasfilms, Solo: A Star Wars Story releases on 25 May 2018.

Comics signed by Stan Lee’s reputedly stolen blood being sold in Las Vegas

Stan Lee, the legendary comics’ figure who helped bring many of Marvel’s most iconic characters to life, has been in the news lately for a bizarre reason. A horrifying report claims that his former business associate has stolen vials of the 95-year-old veteran’s blood to sign comics and spin a fortune.

The comics in question were being sold at the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (The Mighty Thor, Rise of the Black Panther) at Treasure Island, Las Vegas bearing certificates attesting that they’re ‘Hand-Stamped Signature of STAN LEE using Stan Lee’s Solvent DNA Ink’ which retailed up to $500.

Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Las Vegas) reported to Comicbook that they have officially pulled the books off the sale after learning about their controversial connection with Lee. The same associate is also accused of stealing $300,000 from Lee’s bank account and using $850,000 of his money to buy a condominium.

Lee’s finances have reportedly been drained by ongoing disputes with a business partner associated with a charitable organisation that both Lee and his daughter were formerly involved with. The popular news portal TMZ, this week reported that this business associate forged medical documents last October to instruct Lee’s personal nurse to drain several vials of blood from him.

The first instance of Lee’s Solvent DNA Ink surfaced in February from a forum thread on CGComics.com where a poster claimed to represent S.T.A.T.I.O.N saying that Lee willingly donated his blood to honour the blood donors helping the victims of the 2017 tragedy in Las Vegas.

These series of events have led many of his friends, family, fans and colleagues to express concern about his well-being. Lee also experienced a health scare in February and later cancelled a planned convention appearance because of pneumonia.
