Altered Carbon | Date de sortie | Netflix

Inspiré du roman cyberpunk de Richard Morgan, Altered Carbon se déroule dans un futur où les humains, grâce à une conscience numérisée, peuvent se télécharger via une “”pile corticale”” dans de nouveaux corps surnommés des enveloppes.

La série suit le soldat Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman), ramené à la vie après plusieurs siècles pour enquêter sur la tentative de meurtre de Laurens Bancroft (James Purefoy), l’homme le plus riche au monde. Alors que l’enquête suit son cours, Kovacs découvre que son passé n’est pas si enfoui qu’il ne le pensait.

Tous les épisodes seront disponibles exclusivement sur Netflix le 2 février 2018.

Rome, 1973. Des hommes masqués kidnappent Paul (Charlie Plummer), le petit-fils de J. Paul Getty (Christopher Plummer), un magnat du pétrole connu pour son avarice, mais aussi l’homme le plus riche du monde.
Pour le milliardaire, l’enlèvement de son petit-fils préféré n’est pas une raison suffisante pour qu’il se sépare d’une partie de sa fortune.
Gail, (Michelle Williams), la mère de Paul, femme forte et dévouée, va tout faire pour obtenir la libération de son fils. Elle s’allie à Fletcher Chace (Mark Wahlberg), le mystérieux chef de la sécurité du milliardaire et tous deux se lancent dans une course contre la montre face à des ravisseurs déterminés, instables et brutaux.

Adapté d’une histoire vraie, le nouveau thriller de Ridley Scott nous plonge dans une traque haletante qui oppose les valeurs de l’argent aux liens du sang.

Zach Lieberman | Poetic computation

Zach Lieberman is an artist and teacher, cofounder of the School for Poetic Computation, which explores the intersections of code, design, hardware, and theory, with a particular focus on artistic intervention. He creates performances and installations that amplify human gestures in different ways—making drawings come to life, imagining what the voice might look like if we could see it, transforming people’s silhouettes into music. Lieberman was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People. His projects have been awarded the Prix Ars Electronica, Interactive Design of the Year from the Design Museum in London, and have been listed in Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of the Year. He creates artwork through writing software and is a co-creator of openFrameworks, an open source C++ toolkit for creative coding.
