This is my graduation project at Savannah College of Art and Design Spring 2017 I make dreams, specially weird dreams. Freud said dream is the fulfillment of desire. In the dreams, we let our imagination to control ourself. We lost, chasing, feeling in the dreams like a different life. Dreams reflect our past, which we create the future. I launched a camera-laden balloon before totality passed over Central Oregon. There were three still cameras (one being a Ricoh Theta 360) and a GoPro recording video. This is the edited video, showing launch, the shadow of totality passing, and the last 40 seconds or is the last of the footage before the battery died. The payload actually landed in a 60 foot tall ponderosa near Black Butte, but the Theta and GoPro broke free during impact and landed on the ground. I hired a tree specialist in Bend to retrieve the payload on Wendesday and the other two cameras (two Goodwill-sourced Canon Powershot point and shoots) will be mailed to me this week. Here is the view from the Theta 360 at the highest point it survived to (20,000-25,000 feet): https://theta360.com/s/3kvN6RqjVwbp0DSmuOn9n38vw

Why America still uses Fahrenheit
Posted in: Animation
Fahrenheit, explained to the rest of the world
Since I’ve moved to the US in 2010, there’s one thing that I still don’t fully understand: the imperial system. Virtually every country on earth uses Celsius but America has yet to follow. Although it might not seem like a big deal, not using the metric system puts America at a great disadvantage. For example, American kids have to learn 2 sets of measurements making science education even more difficult. On top of that, American companies have to produce extra products to export to metric countries. So why does the United States still have such an antiquated system of measurement?
