Leonard Nimoy in Advertising

Leonard Nimoy, who has died at the age of the age of 83, has appeared in a number of television commercials related to his casting as Mr Spock in the original Star Trek series and films. The most recent was Volkswagen Germany’s “Zukunft für alle” (Future is Now) commercial in which Nimoy drives a futuristic Volkswagen XL1, outclassing Shatner’s e-mobility equipped e-Golf. Audi’s “Zachary Quinto vs. Leonard Nimoy: The Challenge”, was released in 2013. Nimoy appeared in a 2006 Super Bowl ad for Aleve pain reliever, turning up to deliver his famous Live Long and Prosper sign at a convention. He appeared as the potential replacement for Priceline ambassador William Shatner in a series of three commercials in 2004. Other campaigns include Hallmark, EdTel (1981), MCI and Western Airlines (1985).

Light fears Dark. Dark resents Light. Always at odds. Always in conflict. Pushing borders. Losing ground. Never ending. But what is one without the other? "Inside Out – Action Group Identity Belvedere-Torcy-France"

“Inside Out – Action Group Identity Belvedere-Torcy-France” is part of a dual artistic project to federate the people of Belvedere – a multicultural area in Paris’ suburb – involving them, thereby:
• develop social bonds
• Conduct two positive and rewarding activities for the residents and the neighborhood.
• Involve and valuing children Belvedere causing them to become involved in their neighborhood.
• Take ownership of their neighborhood by restructuring the space and the attractive and dynamic rendering.
• Disseminate color symbols of peace and universality to brighten the Belvedere (the first component of the project is based on the colorization of urban space from the prism of the rainbow).
• Assert the Belvedere’s identity
• Unifying the neighborhood by involving all citizens and local actors
The combination of the two projects will give an identity to the Belvedere in order to convey a positive image.
Also a chance to raise awareness among residents that the neighborhood is primarily theirs; they can get involved and be proud.
