This is the opening sequence to “Laverne & Shirley In The Army”, an animated spinoff of ABC’s live-action hit sitcom “Laverne & Shirley” (1976-83).
The premise of this show centered around the girls volunteering to go in the Army, where they get into wacky adventures with their commanding pig officer, Sgt. Squealy.
Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams respectively lend their voices to their animated counterparts, Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney. Ron Pallilo
(WELCOME BACK KOTTER) voiced Sgt. Squealy.
This was a co-production of Hanna-Barbera Productions and Paramount Televisison.

‘Tonk’s Island’, created by Mel Roach and produced at Rubber House for the Nickelodeon International Animated Shorts Program 2013-14.
James Montgomery Flagg and Russell Patterson are the guests in this episode of “The Faye Emerson Show”. Interesting. Note: the closing moments and credits are missing from this copy. The episode aired from 7:15PM to 7:30PM on ABC, preceded by “Club Seven” and followed by “Life with Linkletter”. My source for the date of the episode comes from a newspaper listing.
