St. Pauli pinkelt zurück // St. Pauli Peeback

*** SUBTITLES AVAILABLE ***

In Hamburg, St. Pauli, it’s peeback time. St. Pauli’s Community of Interest (IG St. Pauli e.V.) initiated an action where frequented walls in the neighbourhood were sprayed with a superhydrophobic coating. This coating is so water-repellent that urine splashes right back. By doing so, we want to stop those who pee wherever they please.

HEAD OVER HEELS

www.headoverheels.tv “Of the animated shorts, [Head Over Heels is] the cleverest.” -Stephen Holden, The New York Times “The attention to detail is staggering, particularly for a stop-motion animated movie… There may be an impressive crop of animated shorts this year, but Head Over Heels is the most fully realized of the whole bunch. Flawless.” -William Bibbiani, CraveOnline.com “This beautifully animated film is also a wonderfully unique story… Both whimsical and deeply felt… Simply extraordinary.” -Richard Propes, theindependentcritic.com “The true charmer of the screening… The understated nature of the central couple’s struggle calls for repeat viewing.” -Ben Mitchell, skwigly.co.uk

Benjamin Booker 'The Future Is Slow Coming' Dir: James Lees

A short film featuring the songs ‘Slow Coming’ & ‘Wicked Waters’ from Benjamin Booker. PRESS: NPR – “A kind of mash-up of Selma and Beasts of the Southern Wild, with Booker as an unwilling time traveler recalling both the segregated Deep South and current controversial police actions.” Full Article – http://www.npr.org/blogs/therecord/2015/03/11/392203348/benjamin-booker-faces-the-past DIY Mag – “One emotional juggernaut of a video” Far Out Magazine – “A music video for ‘Slow Coming’ and ‘Wicked Waters’ it deals effectively with both aspects of the short film and music promo genres, being both cinematic and emphatic in delivery. Pulling at heart strings and delivering the sobering message like a slap to the face.” CREDITS: Director: James Lees Production Company: Doomsday Entertainment Executive Producer: Danielle Hinde Producer: Declan Ryan Director of Photography: Jackson Hunt Editor: Michael Carter Production Design: John Richoux Costume Design: Christina Flannery Colourist: Ricky Gaussis Sound Design: Brent Kiser VFX: Jeff Desom Make Up: Amber Leonard Hair: Jessica Masters & Rena Rheaves
