We follow a man as he nears the end of his fight in the American Civil War. After being baptized alongside his fellow soldiers and losing his way through the Appalachian Mountains, He becomes a prisoner to a group of confederate soldiers. While in captivity he is constantly haunted by the beautiful woman who baptized him.
