Dell Learning Meets Doing in Fast Film

Dell is debuting its newest video in its social media-driven, “Learning Meets Doing” back-to-school marketing campaign. Titled “5-Second Filmmaker,” this two-minute online film features the fictional Marty Goldberg, an aspiring director who not only makes his films according to the “Goldberg Method” – where everything takes place in 5-second intervals – he actually lives his life this way, too.

The “Learning Meets Doing” campaign spans a variety of social platforms including YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. dell.tumblr.com, in particular, serves as a hub to house a collection of continuously updated micro-content and humorous videos. Pre-roll, banner ads and a paid social program all support this effort. The video will run globally in markets such as India, Brazil and China.
