3D Text
Posted in: Digital Fusion / DFX+I’ve completed a track in Boujou that is 95% of the way there, but there is a slight distortion in the camera solve where the 3D scene containing the solved points is ‘stretched’, which in my experience is due to a slight offset in the camera solve’s focal length.
In PF-Track, the matchmoving software that I’m more familiar with, you have the Focal Length Tool, which gives you a hand’s on way of estimating the focal length before solving the camera.
What’s Boujou’s method of dealing with this problem?
Are there various tools that can help?
Thanks!
Problem – i cant understand rotation order issue in 3d space.
Example -i am rotating my card by x axis, than by y axis or by z axis, and my rotation start behave wrong – x axis rotation already not local x axis but some other axis which i do not understand
Will appreciate receive some short explanation about this behavior
thanks

Forty US billionaires pledged today (Wednesday) to give at least half of their wealth to charity, either during their lifetimes or after death. This will be huge boost to nonprofit company, which suffered from the economic downturn. The list of those taking the pledge includes Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, T. Boone Pickens, Michael Bloomberg and George Lucas, the man behind "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" movies who is said to be worth $3.5 billion. Lucas is the only person in Hollywood to do this. The pledge idea came about in a series of private meetings that Gates, Buffett and other philanthropists had over the past year on the future of charitable giving. Bloomberg, like several others on the list, said he made the pledge because he has more money than he could ever use himself. Buffett is the second richest man in world with a worth around $60 billion. The 79-year-old has already announced that he will donate 99% of his money to charity after his death. |
newbie matte question
Posted in: NUKE from The FoundryI have rendered out an image from cinema 4d together with a matte for that image, but In Nuke, when I merge the image with a background using the matte as a mask, I get a little white edge around my object. As if the matte is slightly too large… Does anybody know what’s going on?
