TimeSpan – Time Tracking Script

TimeSpan is a “Punch Clock” style time tracker. Originally built as a way to keep track of my own hours and pay when I was a freelancer. I have now modified it and am now making it available to the AE community. I hope you find it a useful tool.

Features:
– Exports a .TXT (tab delimited) file to the folder of your choice.
– Can log by Client Name or Project Name.
– Logs your clock in time, clock out time, total hours, hourly pay rate and total pay
– Can log multiple entries per document.
– Reset button to clear accidental start time.

Rotoscoping Cloth..

Hey people.. its been a while since i posted.. Well first thing is i want to thank all the people who helped me on all the questions that i posted as i got a job as a Roto-Artist..

Now.. moving to the question.. i read the Rotoscoping Techniques posted by Aruna for the 10 th time now and i have come up with a question.. Say for example if i wanted to rotoscope a cloth.. for example a waving flag… In a waving flag example.. it would be hard to maintain the spline points all through the shot where they were originally placed in the first frame right?? there would be a bumps or curls on the flag so it would be hard.. So in that case would be okay to defy the Rule which says

"try to keep the points steady and maintain them where they were originally placed in the first frame.."
thanks in advance.. looking forward to a reply..

getting tracks from 3d geometry

Hello, I was wondering if I have a matchmove camera and geometry (let’s say even just a cube for example) and I want to get a 2d track from let’s say one of the vertexes of the cube, how do I do that? I know I could use the "points to 3d" node which I have tried and works well (and doesn’t require geometry), but what if I have geometry and want to just get one or more tracks out of it to use in the 2d environment? thanks!

Confused by colorspaces.

Hey everyone.
Want to make sure that i’m on the right track (or not). The question is,do i have to switch the "colorspace" tab (read node) to "linear" only if i’m going to apply any kind of adjustments, and once i’m done with it use the gamma node to bring it to the proper colorspace.
In other words,do i have to set an image to linear colorspace if i intend to use it for compositing.
Thanks!^^
