Help me get a new Laptop

Hi there morning i want to chose of these laptops. I cant afford to buy a desktop because im always in motion and traveling 100s of kilometers. Im working in a national broadcast Television as a graphic/compositer and id like to know what should be better. I need something that also covers some modern gaming for personal use and good render times.
Here are the adepts:
Asus G73 – CORE i7 720qm, 8gb ram DDR3, ATI 5780 1gb ddr5, 2x 500GB hdd
(this one is the most wanted i think it could cover everything but rather i ask your opinion)
HP eliteBook 8540w – CORE i5 540m, 4gb ram DDR3, NV quadro FX 880 1gb, 500gb hdd
(this one seems to be good only for working but im not sure if its possible to upgrade RAM higher, because i have an Pavilion DV6 and it has 4gigs and its not possible to upgrade)
Or there is a higher version of that EliteBook with 8gigs of ram and with CORE i7 620m but 400eus expensiver than those two above.

Time & Again is an excellent short film of a man’s daily life and how he copes with boredom and repetition. Created by Montreal born animator/designer Jacques Khouri who is presently residing in New York.

Frame Blending (Furnace?)

I have two plates that were shot using the same locked camera with guys running in them.

There are a few frames missing, I’d say about 5 which I assume came about as the original edit had a cut in the middle, and I want to put the two plates back together.

Now these middle frames are gone and I’d like to try and fill them out again. Can any of the Furnace tools do this with their motion estimation stuff?

It doesn’t even have to be 100% (the plates are really crummy as it is, so some noise and stuff won’t be too noticible) but just something to avoid the jump between the crossover. I’ve tried using a dissolve but there’s too much difference between the hero figure in the centre. A dissovle would probably work if I had a few created frames.

Any ideas would be most welcome!

Thanks
