VFX in New Zealand

Hi I have been advised to post a new thread regarding career options for VFx artist in New Zealand.I am recently shifting base to New Zealand and want to do a course in VFx.I have already done a 3 yr course which had Maya and after affects both but the quality was pretty sad. Please anybody over here whose workin in Nz as a VFx artist.Please advice.
