Now this is incredibly interesting. CTRL is a 5 min series of Nestea commercials disguised as a television show starring Tony Hale (Buster from Arrested Developement) The good thing is…it works…it’s really well produced, it’s funny and it is served in small bites, so it’s easy to watch at work before starting the day (kinda like a live action comic strip). This is actually where I hope advertising heads. If I can be entertained by an ad then I am fine with being advertised to.
Notice how noone ever really uses the product, it’s just always in frame, is occasionally a prop, and is the catalyst for the premise. Really clever!
This one is really good, and I will continue to tune in to the coming episodes! Looks like they are trusting them and actually getting some compositing into the next one.
