Summary:
Creating clean plates (paint) for our 3D Depth Artists using After Effects, Nuke, and Photoshop.
Required Spoken Language: English
Required Work Authorization: United States
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and assisting with shots for and with other 3D Depth Artists to convert 2D media into high quality Stereoscopic 3D on a timely basis.
Make corrections to work as may be required and/or directed.
Take creative direction from leads and/or stereographer.
Skills/Experience:
Proficiency in compositing and clean plate preparation.
Must have excellent working knowledge of software packages such as Nuke & After FX.
Excellent understanding to related technical terminology.
Good working knowledge of Windows production environment.
Proven excellence in artistic ability and aptitude.
Ability to understand and interpret the creative requirements in order to create an accurate representation of stereoscopy.
Good understanding of practical film making techniques.
Accredited post secondary school compositing course or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in VFX industry or equivalent education.
