Posted in: The Job LotPDI/DreamWorks is looking for a few short term, temporary Paint Fix Artists at our Redwood City, CA location The positions begin in January and February and will last a few months.
Paint Fix Artist Job Description
– Digitally alter and fix frames with paint and compositing tools using After Effects and Photoshop.
– Review each film frame and check for binding issues and other technical problems
– Candidates for this position must have paint and compositing experience
– Must have a great working knowledge of After Effects 6.5 and Photoshop CS.
– A minimum of one year work experience in a production environment.
– Great visualization and artistic skills with an eye for detail and realism.
– Efficient and speedy work practices for quick turn-around time under deadline pressure.
– Please be highly motivated and passionate about your work and have a positive attitude.

Pluses:
– Knowledge of 3D Animation Pipeline.
– BFA or similar art background / equivalent experience.
– Traditional art skills- demonstrated eye for light, shadow, composition, and color.
– UNIX or Linux operating system experience.
– Film production experience.
– Experience using Nuke a plus
