LUMA PICTURES, is looking for an Assistant Technical Coordinator to work with our commercial projects. Luma attracts some of the best in the business and many talented individuals who start as project hires have made luma their home. We pride ourselves on providing a challenging but casual environment with ample opportunity to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Wrangle render farm priorities and forecast render needs to meet deadlines
– QC a large volume of renders to catch artifacts and glitches
– Coordinate priorities between management and artists
– Learn custom scripts and tools that streamline your workflow

QUALIFICATIONS
– Strong work ethic
– Meticulous attention to detail
– Exceptional organizational skills
– Comfortable with spreadsheets
– Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines

PLUSES
– Understand core compositing and editorial concepts (After Effects / Final Cut / Avid)
– Basic command line knowledge
– Familiarity with various media file formats/codecs
