JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Emmy Award nominated visual effects company in Culver City, CA has immediate availability for a Nuke compositors. This individual must be available to work on-site or potentially relocate to our offices in Michigan. The candidate must have a keen eye for design, product modeling and brand experience for broadcast, industrial and film work.

REQUIREMENTS:
background, knowledge, skills and abilities required at minimum:

• 2+ years compositing experience with photo-realistic visual effects for feature film
• Nuke experience preferred
• A demonstration reel showing a strong sense of composition, light and color
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience regarding all tasks associated with the compositing process, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements, paint/roto work and color grading is expected.
• Attention to detail

• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to work within a strong team environment and willingness to share knowledge
• Creative problem solving skills
• Ability to perform digital matte painting is a plus
• Traditional art portfolio demonstrating traditional art skills is a plus.
