Humble advice required pls.

Hi guys need help………. i will be buying a desktop replacement soon that will be a LAPTOP i have very few options because there are very specific brands available here HP & SONY VAIO.

pls help me deciding !

1_ HP PAVILION___DV7T_CORE I7 (720) QM, 4 GB DDR3 , 500 GB HDD , NVIDIA GT 230M

2- SONY VAIO VPCF115FM-B OR 121FXB___CORE I7 (740) QM , 4 GB DDR3 , 500 GB HDD , NVIDIA GT 310M

PLS SUGGEST ME…. I LIKE PHYSX OF NVIDIA GT 230M but 310M don`t have it !

I will be doing realflow , maya fluids – dynamics and multicore renderings.

My questions are,

1-Does MAYA supports GT 230M and PHYSX ?
2 Does any body have any experience with HP CORE I7 Series for 3d work ?
