IS IT A COMBUSTION THING??

Is it just a Combustion thing..I was just roto-ing in combustion and i was doing in times of 10-as in every ten frames i was animating the rotoshape..The shot had not much of a movement.

its the footage – dresden dolls-shores of california..

even though there was not much of a movement, i am moving the points almost every frame…is there any key strategy while roto-ing??
also lot of people outside of vfxtalk have been confusing me by saying that if we move the points individually there will be lots of boils and chatters..is this true??

also where should we fix our rotospline–i mean exactly on the character’s border, or can we leave a pixel of space…and give feather and adjust that??

am i missing something basic about rotoshaping…surprisingly i love roto and wire removal a lot..

my rate of doing roto is like for a particular shape(like hand or fore-arm) i can do 40-50 frames in an hour…is it bad..will i suck with this speed when i enter the industry??
