Probably a weird question but is it somehow possible to continue the movement I just tracked/matchmoved out of a dolly shot?
What I am talking about :confused: ?
Shot: "Steady" dolly movement from left to right (Attachment 1-3)
Task: Continue the movement of the column (Att. 4) after the recorded dolly movement finishes at Attachment 3.
Why I would like to do that: Would like to steady transform the movement from a video 1 to a video 2.
My Problem: I can only track and match move between Att. 1-3. because the
recorded dolly movement suddenly stops there.
At vfxpedia I found something about "Track Center (append)":

This mode can also be used to virtually continue the tracking of patterns that move out of the frame or get obstructed by other objects. |
I just don’t know how to correctly use it 🙁 !?
One solution would be to just animate the whole column movement – but to be more accurate I would
like to track and continue that movement somehow…
