The training video covers the process of simulating the breaking of objects during a destruction scenario using the procedural workflow in Batch. Batch is a node based compositing solution with in the Flame application. Substance noise is a GPU accelerated texture creation system added in Flame 2010 Extension 1. Substance Noise:
A new feature to Autodesk 2010 Extension 1, is the new substance noise Batch node. Within this node contains a plethora of new GPU Accelerated, vector based, animatable, and tiled textures. Each one of the textures found in this new Batch node have the ability to be combined with others to make it a extremely flexible way to showcase displacements, surfaces and phenomenon. Particle Presets:
New to Autodesk Flame 2010 are the new particle presets found in Action. These particle presets can be used for many compositing scenarios. We take you through the process of one complete scenario inside of this media rich Batch and Action based procedural shot.
