Credit question

i just did some minor work for a friend’s short video, and we’re wondering what kind of credit i should get. my work was pretty much camera stabilization on apple shake on a couple of shots. so…vfx artist? assistant? is there anything more specific than that?

What Goes Into Making This…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQcVllWpwGs

It seems that the only ‘real thing’ is the head and the rest seems to be made from 3D software as well as the background. Would someone be able to tell me how long something like this would take to make, what sort of planning goes into it, do they first shoot the heads and then animate the bodies or visa versa?

Thanks again for this amazing forum,:D

Enigma: Our new Sci-fi Film!

Hey everyone!

I’m new to the board and just wanted to introduce ourselves and our film "Enigma"

Its been a project of ours for almost 5 years! Had to work it around our full time jobs! We just started playing festivals. Our Debut Fest (Dances with Films) was at the beginning of June and we ended up winning Audience Choice for best short which was a wonderful way to start the festival run. The next screenings at the moment are "Action On Film International Film Festival" end of July and "Dragon*Con International Film Festival" the first week in September.

A few quick facts…

*42 mins long
*HD (Panasonic Varicam)
*225 VFX shots
*9 day shoot

Here’s the trailer and some short clips of the movie. (I suggest hitting the HD button under the video for better playback)

Nice to meet you all, and let me know if you have any questions about the film!

The Pacific (HBO)

I love HBO. Anyone know who’s working on the VFX for this? I remeber seeing the jump sequence in Band of Brothers and it seeming like a real milestone for televisual VFX. More recently we’ve had John Adams and now this.

I found these folks working on it: http://www.iloura.com/index.htm
