Hey guys, I’m working on a paint shot in Photoshop CS4 and am wondering if there is a work around for using the arrow keys to nudge while also having an image sequence in my layers. Currently when I use the arrow keys to attempt to move a layer, it is just advancing a frame forward in time, or backwards. Is there something I can do to have the arrow keys nudge and have an image sequence in my layers? The only thing that seems to work so far is deleting the image sequence and then nudging and bringing the image sequence back in. It is silly to have to do that though. Also, I know I can just move the layers with the cursor, but nudging is so much faster when you are trying to be accurate. Thanks ahead of time!

Color effect help?
Posted in: PhotoshopI recently started messing around with picture editing and I found this which really interested me.
don’t know if this is a edited picture or just a sketch but I was trying to get a look somewhat like this on a picture of my own. I tried things like threshold / or messing around with colors to get them solid without any shading but after a while decided I couldn’t figure it out. So basically my question is any ideas on how to get a similar effect on a picture.. like get it to be only solid colors and black
I was trying things on Shake but I also got photoshop available so any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. thanks:happydevi

Wacom Tablet & PS
Posted in: PhotoshopHey Everyone
A couple of years ago i bought a wacom graphire 3 tablet. I recently started using it again with autodesk sketchbook pro. This program works with the tablets pressure sensitivity quite well but when i try to use the pressure sensitivity in photoshop it just acts like the mouse and doesn’t vary the strokes and the opacity(photoshop does support pressure sensitivity doesn’t it??…because i seem to remember that elements 2 worked with my tablet). I use photoshop cs3 and if anyone has had this problem or similar i would really appreciate help.
Thanks

Hello, I would like to view the image I am working on brighter so that I can see it more clearly. I know that I could just create an adjustment layer, put in on top of everything and increase the levels, this works but then when I paint on it, everytime I sample a color from the image it picks from the bright verison of it so the color I want is obviously brighter than the original, the same applies to the clone brush. In silouhette there is a way of changing just the way you see the image without actually affecting it, so I was wondering if there is something similar in photoshop too or if there is any way I can do this. Thanks!
