How can I do a simple AE style Spherize

We all know the really cheesy spherize tool used to bubble up images, such as in photoshop and AE. I’m trying to figure out how to create a similar type effect in Nuke. I’m fiddling with the idistort, but it’s not giving me the bubble effect I want.

Help or suggestions please. Thanks.

Refrencing a Script within a script

I find it hard to believe that with all the power that is in Nuke there is no way to reference a script withing another script. What I mean is, I have a script that i’m working on, and I want to add in nodes from another script that someone else is working on, but I want it to be able to update once the other person updates their script. Is this possible?

Thanks in advanced for any insight into this, would be nice to get a fast response as i’m on a deadline here and this would speed up workflow time considerably.

Photoshop into Nuke

Just wondering if there’s a script or something to import a photoshop composition into Nuke as a series of layers similar to how it would be done in After Effects. Does anyone know anything about this?

Add Motion Blur to Beziers

I was waching this video on youtube and saw that there is actually a way to add motion blur to animated beziers! I did not however manage to achieve it… Perhaps a more advanced nuker can show me the way.. I’m coming from fusion where all you had to do to motion blur a mask was enable its motion blur 🙂

Take a look at min 5:30 onwards..

How do I create shorcuts for nodes

I´m new in Nuke and I’d like to customize it creating shortcuts for nodes like tracking, shuffle or channel Merge as the standard software has p for bezier or t for transform.
Does any one knows how to do it?

Color my Read

In nuke, we can color each node (in Edit/Color).
That’s a cool thing and I would like to have my node colored differently depending on where they come from.
For example, Mattepaintings (coming from a folder named mattepainting) will all be blue. Or Layers coming from shading will be yellow (and so on). Is there a way to define a color to a path? Thanks!
