Hasta La Motion!

Cut&Paste founder John Fiorelli and HP presented just a few weeks ago London’s Hero, an new digital event featuring six of London’s best animation studios. In collaboration with Blackmeal, Mummu, Fred & Eric, Animade, Territory, and Golden Wolf, the animation project facilitated the studios working to tell the story of London’s newest superhero.

From 26 September to 15 October, each team worked sequentially, animating a ten-second portion representing a different life stage – baby, child, teen, adult, midlife, senior – and stitching each clip together.

All animators threw down at ZED, HP’s Pop-Up Studio for Creatives, using HP’s Z820 workstations and endless coffee & beer.

At the end of it each member of the participating studio teams received an HP ElitePad Windows tablet. Sweet!

TAVO drops a new killer reel. enjoy…

Buenos Aires based Plenty‘s launched a reel of their work for HBO Latin America. The navigation main protagonist is the high quality content of the channel. As a framework for the footage we designed a navigation system refers to the digital platforms where the tactile sensation is represented by the logo that take the roll of the selector finger.

Madrid based Tavo Ponce has recently setup TA\VO creative studio. Tavo teamed up with Echolab creating this new Title project for TypoMad 2013, a typography focussed event held in Spain. The Titles allude to bezier lines, ink and the definition of a new creation. Great work!
