Hello! I am thinking of buying an Acer Aspire 7735ZG.

Intel Pentium T4200 ( Dual-Core )
4GB DDR3 SDRAM – 1066 MHz ( 2 x 2 GB )
500 GB – Serial ATA-150
17.3" TFT 1600 x 900 ( WXGA+ ) – CineCrystal LED
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 – 512 MB

It costs about 970 usd in Norway. The specs seems okey, but I have one question. How will the CineCrystal LED display work with vfx work? I have heard that matte screens is to prefer, but does the same thing applies to LED-screens?

i was wondering which Nuke version is used in the FXPHD Nuk201 course because i use 5.1 v4
at home and the interface is very different from mine…

I just purchased a MacPro Desktop and need to get a monitor. I work mostly with Photoshop, Shake and Maya. I didn’t want to spend more to get the Apple 24" when I know there are cheaper and just as sufficient models out there. I’m looking to get a monitor size range from 20"-24." Basically, if anyone has any advice for an affordable monitor I would truly appreciate it.

Are there anything else, but red/green glasses on the market? I mean polar glasses with special monitors etc.

Hi guys i have good ctr monitor that i love, but now i am getting in to sound design and i would like to have 1 more monitor but not ctr since they are big in size. If i decide to get a lcd monitor nothing big just so i can see my mix when mixing will i have any problems hawing lcd and ctr together on one video card which supports dual monitors.
