The Box, short film (original title: Laatikko)

Hi.
I’m a filmstudent in Finland and I will probably major in cinematography. I use almost all of my freetime to practise compositing with after effects or 3d modelling with Blender.

I put my skill to a test with this short film I made earlier this year. My plan was to compine stop-motion animation with regular video footage. It turned out pretty good. But I would like to hear what you think.

Here is my short:

Or if you prefer, you can also watch it on Vimeo

The Box is a short story about a lonely man who receives a box.
Shot with Sony DCR-TRV33E camcorder (the animation bits with Canon Eos 350D). Edited with Adobe premiere pro CS4. Effects and color correction with After Effects CS4.

ADCC – Love & Hate

http://vimeo.com/23657660

This is the opening created for the 2010 Advertising & Design Club of Canada (ADCC) Awards. The film taps into an insight we think every creative feels – love for the business when things are going well, and hate, when things aren’t.
