Normally I just track in Mocha then attach my Rotoshape to the track in Shake. However, I thought I’d have a go at exporting shape data from Mocha and importing into Shake. To do this I am copying the .ssf to a Shake Rotoshape node. However, Shake always crashes when I do this. Am I missing something? Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or offer me a step-by-step work around?
I’m on a Mac running Shake 4.1 and running Mocha 1.6
Thanks
I checked out a new Andrew Kramer tutorial yesterday called 3d Ledge:
http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/3d_ledge/
He’s using a Script for AE which extracts a single 2d Track to Maya or 3ds Max Cameradata. Quiet useful I think. Is there anything similar for shake?
Cheers,
Michael
from what i understand f-stop has some relationship to the exposure in a camera.
but i think when asked as a compositor to make the scene 1 f-stop higher. i assume they mean more by brightning up the scene, which is done when you increase the exposure in a camera.
so my question is how can one mimic, or is there a value that represents an f-stop in shake?
so far we did a test in nuke which has an f-stop function, and the results can be presented in shake by adding a brightness node and increasing the value by 1.3. (linear)
can this be correct? or is there a more accurate way to recreate an f-stop?
thanks in advance for any help ^_^
help plesas i need this for one of my shots for my Degree project.
here a test to what i want. but at the mo it looks to flat. and lacking depth.

I was wondering if there was a DOD shortcut key to frame DOD to viewer instead of having to right click?
Thanks!
I’m working on a drawn animation project, and am layering up/sorting the frames in shake.
The images where taken on a DSLR, with the images back projected on a lightbox.
The problem I’m having is with a little flicker in luminosity. Basically I’m looking for a deflicker function or method with which I can stabilise the brightness levels.
I know AE has a deflicker filter, but I would rather nip it in the bud with shake, so I can build the shots in single scripts.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
